1st Annual Holiday Uptown Neighborhood Tour

The Uptown Altamonte merchants have announced their First Annual Holiday Uptown Neighborhood Tour (H.U.N.T.) taking place on Saturday, November 17 from 11 am to 4 pm.
Attendees will have the opportunity to take an "excursion" throughout the Uptown Altamonte area to see first hand what this 1 million square foot shopping and dining area has to offer. Special discounts, coupons and prizes will be available from participating merchants.
Here's how it works. Participants receive a special passport, then they travel to the various "ports of call" to experience each merchant's offerings. Passports may be picked up in front of Lifestyle Family Fitness between 10:30 am and 3 pm on the day of the event. At each of these ports, be sure to get your passport stamped because at the end of your excursion, submit it to the final booth and you will be registered for a variety of prizes including:
* One year membership from Lifestyle Family Fitness, plus personal training sessions, $1200 value
* One year of burritos (one a week) from Moe’s
* One year of smoothies (one a week) from Planet Smoothie
* One year of coffee (one bag a month), a grinder and mug from Volcano’s
* A private wine tasting for up to 20 guests from WineStyles
* A gift certificate from Panache Art & Gifts
* An electronics gift basket from Kinko’s
* A gift basket from Embarq
The H.U.N.T. grand prize features an “Uptown Altamonte Experience” which includes a 3 day, 2 night stay at the Embassy Suites, a $100 dinner from Omaha Steakhouse, and a gift basket including gifts from each participating store in Uptown Altamonte.
Furthermore, according to the event press release, "it wouldn't be the holidays without showcasing recipe favorites from all around the world. The international, holiday dessert baking contest is open to anybody ready to show the judges what their pastry is made of."
